Dr Cédric Kron's practice is now equipped with new applicators for the Coolsculpting cryolipolysis device from the Zeltiq laboratory.
Using the same 3D-cut technology as CoolMini, the CoolAdvantage applicators deliver a homogeneous diffusion of cold over the entire surface of the device in contact with the skin.
The CoolAdvantage applicators offer several advantages:
- A reduction in treatment time: 35 minutes per session (instead of an hour for "traditional" applicators).
- Improved comfort during treatment: clinical studies have shown a comfort improvement of around 45%.
- A larger treated area for greater efficacy: 122 cm² of treated surface instead of 110 cm², on average.
- A significant reduction in side effects: bruising, redness (in all cases, these side effects disappear naturally after a few hours).
There are 3 CoolAdvantage applicators, each specialized in treating a specific part of the body:
- CoolCore: treatment of the abdomen and unsightly bulges around the belly
- CoolCurve +: treatment of the flanks and removal of love handles
- CoolFit: treatment of the inner thighs

What is cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive technique for permanently removing localized fat. Using the action of cold on fat cells, cryolipolysis permanently eliminates fat without the need for surgery (unlike liposuction).
Cryolipolysis is particularly effective at removing unsightly bulges around the belly, hips, buttocks, thighs or arms. The CoolMini device is effective at removing excess fat around the neck (double chin removal).
