The principle of an aging treatment for the face using a filler injection involves introducing under the skin a product that creates volume in areas where it is lacking.
For treatment of the upper third of the face, an injection of a filler such as hyaluronic acid reduces forehead wrinkles and fine lines as well as frown lines or glabellar lines. It can also fill certain hollows that appear with age: the temples, the tail of the eyebrow, the hollow of the upper eyelids.
Principle of the procedure:
Hyaluronic acid has the particularity of retaining water (hydrophilic effect) and helping the skin maintain its elasticity and three-dimensional structure. These properties allow a hyaluronic acid injection to compensate for missing volume as naturally as possible. It is a substance naturally found in the tissues of all living organisms.

The aesthetic procedure:
The hyaluronic acid injection is performed at the practice during the consultation. Depending on the indication, it may be performed without anesthesia, with contact anesthesia (EMLA cream, cold), or under local anesthesia. Effectiveness of a hyaluronic acid injection for filling forehead wrinkles
The result of the forehead injection can be assessed immediately after the injection.
Only redness and slight swelling of the forehead may be present for a few hours, and more rarely a small, easily concealed bruise. A normal return to daily activities is possible immediately, aside from intense physical exertion.
Alternative or complementary treatment: Botox

Duration of results:
Hyaluronic acid is a resorbable product. As such, its effect tends to fade over time. The longevity of the result varies depending on the mobility and skin depth of the injected area and the type of product used.
Generally, the result of a hyaluronic acid injection lasts around 6 to 12 months. An injection of filler is contraindicated in the following cases:
