How do the signs of aging appear?
The first signs of aging are not tied to a specific age, as they can appear from age 20, when levels of collagen and elastin — proteins that give skin its structure — start to decline. You will start to notice a loss of skin firmness. The first wrinkles will appear. The longer time goes on, the more pronounced the effect will be.
Other external factors also play a role in aging. Smoking and sun exposure (UV rays) can damage skin structures, including collagen, which increases the signs of aging.

This unique combination in ELLANSÉ® allows for a dual mode of action:
- An immediate action on facial volumes thanks to the effect of Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), which corrects facial folds and wrinkles.
- A long-term action by stimulating collagenesis thanks to the effects of Polycaprolactone (PCL). This action appears 3 months after treatment and lasts between 18 and 24 months.
ELLANSÉ® S and ELLANSÉ® M
These two versions of ELLANSÉ® use the same unique formula combining PCL and CMC. Their difference lies in the length of the PCL polymer chain, which results in a different duration of the long-term volumizing effect. ELLANSÉ® S and ELLANSÉ® M respectively achieve results lasting 18 and 24 months.

What is the difference between ELLANSÉ® and other fillers?
ELLANSÉ® represents the latest generation of aesthetic fillers. It offers several advantages over traditional fillers based on hyaluronic acid:

What happens during a facial volume treatment with ELLANSÉ®
How long does the injection session last?
Depending on the areas involved, a treatment lasts about 30 minutes.
During the treatment, the doctor performs several injections in the treated area. These injections are made at the subcutaneous level (in the hypodermis or the subcutaneous fat layer), which avoids the risk of irregularities associated with superficial injections.
Are ELLANSÉ® injections painful?
As with any injection, the procedure can cause slight discomfort. The injections can be somewhat painful depending on the area treated and your sensitivity. During the consultation, Dr. Kron can discuss this with you and may offer a topical anesthetic to prevent this discomfort.
Dr. Kron also uses a vibrating device that stimulates painless proprioceptive sensitivity (to vibrations) and inhibits nociceptive sensitivity (to pain). This device provides patients with a great deal of comfort during injections.
Are there any side effects?
ELLANSÉ® does not involve side effects, but it should be considered that the injections can cause some bruising as well as slight swelling of the treated area within 48-72 hours after the session in 5% of cases. Makeup can generally easily cover this bruising. Treatment is prescribed over three days if needed.
A return to daily activities is possible immediately after the session. Since its launch in 2009, clinical studies and feedback from many doctors have shown that ELLANSÉ® has proven itself, with significant results and almost no adverse effects.
ELLANSÉ® is a fully resorbable product and therefore carries no risk of allergy.
